Having lived 30 years in prosperous Switzerland and much less prosperous France, it’s really hard to get accustomed to and reconciled with the mixture of cold calculation, hypocrisy, light-mindedness and cynicism that defines the mindset of people who live in the West. What strikes one’s mind is the readiness of the so-called free and democratic countries to obey the orders given from overseas by the «global power» which claims the right to rule the world but in reality behaves like a haughty and high-handed empire built on lies…
