John Kerry Comes to Russia: US Tactical Nukes Stay in Europe (Andrei Akulov, Strategic Culture Foundation)
US State Secretary John Kerry comes to Moscow on May 7. Tom Donilon, US National Security Adviser, went to Moscow last month to deliver a President Obama’s message to Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, which included proposals to cut the two countries' nuclear arsenals and finding a compromise in the running dispute over US plans for a missile defense system in Europe. Obama and Putin are to meet at the G8 meeting at Lough Erne in Northern Ireland in June. A Moscow summit is also an issue for discussion. No specific details are known, but the security agenda is in focus, it serves the purposes to have a look at where we stand and what prospects we face.
